Dr. Vasoontara S. Yiengprugsawan is a Senior Universal Health Coverage Specialist (Service Delivery) with the Health Practice Team at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, where she leads technical assistance to strengthen primary healthcare systems and support management of chronic non‑communicable diseases and mental health across Asia‑Pacific. Prior to ADB, she held senior health research roles in Australia, completed a World Health Organization Fellowship with the Asia Pacific Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, and worked in policy research with a UN migration agency in Geneva. Dr. Yiengprugsawan holds a PhD in Epidemiology, Economics and Population Health from the Australian National University and an MA in International Development from Syracuse University.
