Maj Gen (Retd) Tassawar Hussain is a distinguished physician and academic leader with extensive experience in clinical medicine and medical education. After an illustrious career in the Pakistan Army where he served as a physician, gastroenterologist, Director General Medicine, and Principal of Army Medical College, he joined Foundation University Medical College (FUMC) in 2010. He currently serves as Professor & Head of Medicine and Associate Dean Clinical Sciences at FUMC, where he contributes to teaching, training, research, and institutional development. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the Departments of Medicine and Gastroenterology and shaping future healthcare professionals.
