He has held leadership roles at national research institutes including the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering and the Health Services Academy, and serves as an Advisor to COMSTECH. He has been awarded the Hilal‑i‑Imtiaz and Sitara‑i‑Imtiaz for his contributions to science and technology.
