Biography
Prof. Dr. Farah Naz Qamar is a renowned clinician-researcher specializing in pediatric infectious diseases and public health. She serves at Aga Khan University in both academic and clinical capacities, where her work is dedicated to improving child health outcomes through evidence-based research, innovation and policy engagement.
Her research focuses on infectious diseases affecting children, including typhoid fever, neonatal infections and vaccine-preventable illnesses. She has played a leading role in advancing scientific understanding of these diseases while promoting the translation of research findings into effective public health interventions and policies.
