Biography
Omer Unlu is an accomplished architect, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) with over 22 years of international experience in healthcare planning, design management, contract administration, project leadership and large-scale infrastructure development. As General Coordinator of NKY, he has successfully delivered fast-track public sector projects valued at more than USD 3 billion across multiple regions worldwide.
Throughout his career, Omer has worked across more than twelve countries, collaborating with governments, international financial institutions and private sector stakeholders on complex healthcare and public infrastructure projects. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from strategic planning and design management to execution and operational readiness.
In addition to leading major international projects, Omer is responsible for NKY’s Global Growth Strategy and has personally overseen the establishment of NKY offices in the United Kingdom, Italy, Romania, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Pakistan. He currently serves as Country Manager of NKY Pakistan and Team Leader for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services on the Jinnah Medical Center project, one of Pakistan’s most advanced healthcare developments.
Under his leadership, NKY continues to strengthen its position as a globally recognized consultancy specializing in healthcare infrastructure, hospital planning, engineering, supervision and project management. The company has delivered healthcare projects exceeding 23,000 hospital beds and 150 million square feet worldwide and remains one of the leading international design and consultancy firms recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR).
