Biography
Mr. Yusuke Shinozaki is the Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Pakistan Office and has been serving in Pakistan since February 2026. With nearly two decades of experience in international development cooperation, he has contributed extensively to strategic planning, economic development, agricultural cooperation and regional partnerships.
Since joining JICA in 2006, he has held several senior leadership positions. Prior to his current assignment, he served as Senior Director of the Strategic Planning Division in the Operations Strategy Department at JICA Headquarters. His distinguished career also includes serving as Director of the East Asia Division, secondment to the International Cooperation Bureau of Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Senior Deputy Director of the Agricultural and Rural Development Group within JICA's Economic Development Department.
Mr. Shinozaki holds a Master's degree in Bioagricultural Sciences from Nagoya University, Japan, and continues to play a key role in strengthening development cooperation and bilateral relations between Japan and Pakistan.
