Biography
Dr. Fazli Wahid is a biotechnologist, Fulbright Fellow and Associate Professor with more than a decade of teaching and research experience. His work focuses on the in vitro and in vivo effects of nanomaterials, polymers and natural products on the modulation of signalling pathways involved in chronic diseases, as well as the development of therapeutic biomaterials.
He is an active researcher in tissue engineering, particularly in the design and development of artificial skin and regenerative biomaterials. His scientific contributions have received international recognition, generating more than 2,000 citations and establishing him as a leading researcher in biomedical sciences.
In recognition of his research excellence, the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) ranked him among the top young scientists in Pakistan and among the country's leading biological and biomedical researchers.
