3D Bioprinting Technology for Skin Tissue Engineering 3D Bioprinting, Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering, Artificial Organ Technologies
Introduction
3D bioprinting is an emerging technology with the potential to transform different biomedical fields ranging from tissue engineering to drug screening. In this intensive two-day workshop, participants will gain hands-on experience with the fundamentals of 3D bioprinting, from learning about bioink design to bioprinter operation.
Through interactive lectures and discussions, participants will learn core concepts including bioprinter components, biomaterial considerations, bioink design principles, bioprinting techniques, and applications across diverse fields.
Workshop Format
- Interactive lectures and discussions on 3D bioprinting, bioprinting types, bioink design, bioprinting techniques, and applications.
- Hands-on sessions focused on developing practical skills, including:
- Bioprinter operation and optimization of printing parameters.
- Post-processing and evaluation of printed constructs.
- Dedicated time for participants to ask questions and discuss key learnings.
This workshop will equip participants with the core technical skills and knowledge required to perform basic 3D bioprinting. It will prepare participants for advanced research and career opportunities in the rapidly expanding fields of biotechnology, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and additive manufacturing.
Participants will leave with both theoretical foundations and practical experience in 3D bioprinting that can be applied in academic research and industry settings.
