Biography
Dr. Humaira Ayub is a seasoned molecular geneticist with more than 14 years of research experience in ocular genetics. Her work has significantly advanced the understanding of genetic eye disorders within the Pakistani population, contributing valuable insights to both clinical genetics and biomedical research.
Currently serving as an Associate Professor at PAF-IAST, Haripur, she is a recognized researcher with an h-index of 16 and more than 1,000 citations. Her scientific contributions have established her as a leading voice in human molecular genetics and translational biomedical sciences.
Beyond academia, Dr. Ayub is the founder and co-founder of several biomedical startups and actively promotes innovation-driven translational research. Her ongoing efforts include pro bono genetic counseling services and the development of advanced diagnostic and rehabilitation technologies aimed at improving patient care through modern biotechnological solutions.
